CQR Security Components, based on the Wirral in Cheshire,
produces plastic injection moulding solutions and toolmaking expertise mainly for the domestic and business security market. Alongside CQR's main product lines it also manufactures power cables and point of sale solutions for the retail sector. Employing 185 people at three sites on the Wirral, in total the company has a range of over 4000 products and components, which are sold to 600 different customer branches.
