The company VTQ Videotronik GmbH has a long tradition as the largest employer in the local area. In 1966 the company belonged to VEB Elmet Hettstedt. The year 1974 was the starting point for the production of electronic components for the television industry. A milestone in the history of the company was the affiliation with VEB Tonfunk Ermsleben in 1984. This enabled the company to set priorities to the production of electronic components for the television industry.
On the 26th of June in 1990 the company, until this date owned by the government of the German Democratic Republic, became an independent private owned company, VTQ Videotronik GmbH.
With the help of the managing directors Mr. Enke and Mr. Burggraf the firm managed its way to become a successful company with 130 employees. Today we are the leader in the German market for professional wireless solutions for video, audio and data. Besides the developing and manufacturing of our own products, we are offering a complete service - development and production - for electronic components.
We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO TS 16949, which established the company as a high quality supplier for the German automobile industry.
One of our most standing out innovations is the new multifunctional video-audio-telemetry system, called "Video-AT-Net", which became product of the year in Germany and is patented.
